R.G.U.S. Home Assistants

 

A Home Assistant is a person providing assistance with daily activities.  Our Home Assistants are ready to work for you.  Our staff speaks a variety of languages.  We have highly trained backup Home Assistants available if a replacement is needed due to a schedule change or another issue.  We will make sure that you have peace of mind when we select a Home Assistant from our broad database for you.

This is how we select our Home Assistants:

  • Screening phone interview
  • Personal one-on-one interview
  • Extensive background check
  • Thorough home assistant training
  • Pre-hiring test

 

Each Home Assistant must successfully pass a complete criminal background check and go through special training to receive a certificate.  The training includes a specialized non-medical elder care curriculum. Training continues throughout their working career.  Training that we provide is based on the training requirements of the various states in which we are licensed.  To be hired by R.G.U.S. Inc., we require that the Home Assistant pass a test after the initial 24 hours of training.

Additionally, each year R.G.U.S. Inc. Home Assistants participate in an annual 12-hour in-service training.  We encourage our Home Assistants to join a continuing education program to find fresh ideas and new solutions.

We have Staff and Home Assistants who speak a variety of languages, such as English, Russian, Polish, Lithuanian, Spanish, Serbian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, as well as other European and Asian languages.

Our Home Assistants use their own vehicles to shop or run errands according to our transportation policy.

R.G.U.S. Inc. Home Assistants are available to work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
